The end of a January

I actually never make New Years wishes, but .. this time I kinda did.. And it was:
- make yourself a sewing blog!
- make at least one project a month!

First step successfully finished! Yeah.. I'm here...

And the second one:

 On progress... and voila!

I made this dress for my Folk Textile course that I took. The assignment was to make something that was inspired by my family's works. I had a huge pile of table cloths, embroidered collars and other decorations... so I came up with a summer dress...

For the upper part I used Burda 02/2011 nr 101. I just love it! And skirt is my imagination:)
